About ME

你好！(pronounced as "Nee How", meaning "hello" in Chinese)

This is Cheng from China. You can also call me James. I am currently a graduate student in Public Relations in Boston University (BU). 

Grew up in a southern coastal city called shenzhen in China, I started learning English since I was a little kid. After six years of study in Shenzhen Foreign Languages School, I was recommended to Beijing Foreign Studies University and later earned my dual bachelor's in English literature and International Relations. Eager to take a closer look into the American society (not simply from TV episodes and Hollywood Films), I came to BU and continued my journey.

Celtics is one of the reasons I choose to come to Boston. Besides being a big basketball fan, I'm also addicted to music and movies. Linkin Park is by far my favorite band ever! And I love all the films starring Allen Page in it : P !

Traveling is another big hobby of mine during my leisure time. So far, I've been to Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand. I'd love to explore more about the States during my stay here. I've been to D.C., New York and Chicago. Still I find Boston the Most Attractive!

Adapting to a new environment is hard, especially when you're all by yourself. As an old saying goes, A friend in need is a friend indeed! I'd like to be the friend to those Chinese who are coming to Boston to study or even just to have fun. I'd like to help them discover the Real Boston.
